En la segunda entrega de la saga de El Stand de los Besos, Rachel tiene un desencuentro con Lee y Elle, pues debido a las actividades con de Lee con Elle, no puede pasar tiempo solo con su novio.

With my birthday coming up, I had started to think about everything that had changed since March 22nd 2018. A lot. A lot has changed. This time last year I had never been to Vancouver, now I call it home and see a long term life here for myself. I had never worked outside of South Africa, now I know that Base Camp is also known as Circus. I now own two pairs of Vans (though technically I was given my first pair in Los Angeles sometime in February). I’ve grown a lot as a performer too. That change is harder to put into words but it’s something very tangible to me. I’ve learnt to use my voice. To know my worth • Leading up to my birthday, while reflecting on my past year, another thought kept coming to my mind: “love is not enough”. I thought I had finally learnt this lesson. I wasn’t really sure that was a lesson I wanted to share and yet the thought kept coming back to me: “love isn’t enough unless all the parts fall into place” • A week into this new twenty-something year, my perspective shifted: when you’re in the middle of it and you haven’t gotten to the point of hindsight yet and your life doesn’t look or feel the way you hoped it would, or thought it would, when things don’t work out according to plan and you’re googling quotes from The Alchemist at 2am trying to trust the universe is taking you where you are supposed to go, well, now I think that knowing you have love for someone and love from someone, that might just be enough • I’ve learnt that people like labels. That people like boxes. It’s one thing we (think we) can control. But love doesn’t work like that. It doesn’t make sense and it doesn’t need to make sense. And it doesn’t need to be more or less than what it is • Life is unpredictable. Things change in moments. But enjoy the love, just knowing it exists. ⠀⠀

La actriz Meganne Young es Rachel en El Stand de los Besos 2, la película

El personaje de Rachel es interpretado por la actriz sudafricana Meganne Young, quien alcanzó la fama precisamente por El Stand de los Besos (2018).

De acuerdo con su biografía disponible en internet, antes de la película de Netflix, Meganne Young participó en Black Sails (2014-2017), una serie de Starz. También colaboró en Saints and Strangers (2015), una producción de National Geographic, y Supernatural (2005), de la cadena CW.

El cumpleaños de Meganne Young es el 22 de marzo y este 2020 llegó a los 30 años de edad. Nació en Johannesburgo, Sudáfrica, y actualmente reside en Vancouver, Canadá.
